  1. Brew the Cold Brew Concentrate: Start by grinding your favorite coffee beans coarsely. I like a dark roast for this, but honestly, use what makes you happy. Place the grounds in a large jar or container. Add cold, filtered water, using a ratio of about 1 cup of grounds to 4 cups of water. Stir gently to make sure all the grounds are saturated.
  2. Steep the Coffee: Cover the jar and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12-24 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger the concentrate will be. I usually go for 16 hours because i'm impatient and need to try it sooner!
  3. Strain the Concentrate: After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth or a coffee filter. This step is crucial to remove all the sediment and get that smooth cold brew texture. Dont skip this step or you will have a bad time.
  4. Prepare Your Glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes. The amount of ice is up to you, depending on how cold you like your coffee. I am a bit of a wimp so I prefer more ice.
  5. Combine Cold Brew and Hemp Milk: Pour the cold brew concentrate into the glass, filling it about halfway. Then, top it off with hemp milk. Start with a 1:1 ratio, but feel free to adjust to your taste. Some like it stronger, some like it creamier. Experiment and find your sweet spot!
  6. Add Sweetener (Optional): If you prefer a sweeter drink, add a splash of maple syrup, agave nectar, or your favorite sweetener. Stir well to combine. I am not a fan of sweentener so I usually skip this part.
  7. Garnish (Optional): Garnish with a sprinkle of hemp seeds, a cinnamon stick, or a coffee bean or two. It's all about presentation, baby! Make it look pretty!
  8. Stir and Enjoy: Give it a good stir to make sure everything is well mixed. Then, take a sip and savor the earthy, nutty goodness. Congratulations, you've just made Hemp Milk Cold Brew!
