My Notebook Obsession (It's a Thing!)

Okay, let's be honest. I'm a notebook addict. I have them everywhere. My bedside table, my purse (the mini ones, obvi), even tucked into my travel bag. I'm not even sure why I collect them, but there's something deeply satisfying about having a fresh, blank page ready to capture my thoughts, ideas, and, you know, grocery lists. It's a bit of a problem, if I'm being totally transparent, but a cute, functional notebook is the perfect self-care item. So, I've spent some time trying out different ones—and I’m thrilled to share my top five cute and functional notebooks with you. Get ready to drool! 😉

1. The Classic Moleskine: Still Reigning Supreme

The Moleskine notebook is iconic for a reason. They're sturdy, the paper is great (no bleed-through!), and the simple design is timeless. I use mine for pretty much everything – journaling, brainstorming, even sketching (though my sketches are way more like doodles). One thing to keep in mind: the price tag is a little high. Still, for its quality and versatility, it’s definitely worth the splurge! Especially if you want to make that 'high end' note-taking look happen.

2. Leuchtturm1917: For the Organizationally Inclined

If you're all about organization—numbered pages, a table of contents, and extra pockets—then you need a Leuchtturm1917. The paper is thick and smooth—perfect for fountain pens. Honestly, the organizational features really make a difference when it comes to keeping your ideas in order! It’s my go-to for project planning. The only downside? The lack of vibrant colour options; sometimes I crave a little more personality in my journal!

3. Archer & Olive: The Aesthetically-Pleasing Option

Let's talk about aesthetics. If you appreciate a beautiful notebook that's just as pleasing to look at as it is to write in, Archer & Olive is for you! Their notebooks boast gorgeous designs and unique features, like dotted grid pages, ribbon bookmarks, and even pockets to hold loose papers. I've got one in rose gold—it makes me happy just to look at it. The quality is high end but the price is very fair; no need to worry about getting the same look for less elsewhere!

It's perfect for those who love journaling or bullet journaling and keeping everything organised and super stylish!

4. Rhodia Webnotebook: The Budget-Friendly Choice

Don't want to break the bank? The Rhodia Webnotebook is an excellent budget-friendly option. It's great for everyday note-taking, and the paper is surprisingly smooth and resistant to ink bleed-through—I was really impressed with this one! I use mine for work meetings and making quick notes. Don’t underestimate it—it's truly a steal at the price!

My tip? Buy a couple of these; you might end up losing one in a bag or something.

5. Dingbats*Notebooks: For the Fun and Quirky

Want something a little more fun and playful? Dingbats*Notebooks are where it's at! They have the cutest, most unique designs, and the quality is great too. I have one with adorable little owls all over the cover – it's just too darn cute! The fun factor really brings a smile to my face and makes note-taking even more enjoyable. Plus, they're a great conversation starter. What's not to love?
