You can afford a heavier, more comfortable chair. Consider rocking chairs, oversized models, even those with built-in cup holders (because who doesn't love a cup holder?).

• Weight and Packability: This is crucial if you're backpacking. Look for chairs that are lightweight and fold down easily into a compact size. Don't even think about those bulky, heavy-duty chairs if you're planning on carrying them for miles.
• Comfort and Support: This is subjective, obviously. But consider things like the seat height, width, and back support. Do you want a high back for extra lumbar support? Or are you okay with a low-profile chair? I personally prefer a higher back and some arm rests, for comfy reading on the trail.

You don't need to break the bank, but you also dont' want to regret buying the cheapest thing imaginable after one use.

• Helinox Chair Zero: Ultralight, packable, and surprisingly comfortable – perfect for backpacking. Its lightweight comes at a cost tho, so it might not be for everyone.
• REI Co-op Camp X Chair: A solid all-arounder for car camping, offering good comfort and durability at a reasonable price.
• GCI Outdoor Freestyle Rocker: If you want to rock while you relax, this is your chair. It's heavier, suitable for car camping, but oh-so-comfortable!
• ALPS Mountaineering King Kong Chair: For the truly plush experience (think oversized comfort), this is the king. Again, this is a car-camping-only kind of chair. Bringing this bad boy backpacking would require a superhuman level of strength!

Maintaining Your Camping Chair:
