Whatever your best feature, OWN it. For example, if you have beautiful, big eyes, use a bold eyeliner and mascara to make them pop. Don't try to hide what makes you beautiful; amplify it!

A friend of mine went with a vibrant emerald green eyeshadow for her prom, and it looked amazing. If you usually stick to neutrals, why not try a bold berry lip or a shimmering gold eyeshadow? Prom's the perfect opportunity to try a new look, even if it's just a slight tweak from your regular style. Just make sure you practice ahead of time! You don't want to be figuring things out on the big night. Think about your outfit and accessories when you pick a palette, tho.

Face gems? Glitter? Hair accessories that add a spark? Go for it! Prom makeup isn't just about the face; it's the whole package. Adding some extra flair can take your look from pretty to absolutely stunning. Again, think about your outfit, but don't be afraid to get creative and add some sparkle or unique detail. For instance, if your dress is plain, you could go all out with glittery makeup or face jewels. But if your dress is already flashy, you may want to keep the makeup more understated.

Don't underestimate the power of skincare preparation. Treat yourself to a facial mask a few days before prom to keep your skin radiant. And for goodness sake, moisturize! This is the best trick I learned, honestly! Also, get those brows on fleek. Consider getting them professionally shaped if you are feeling nervous about it. It will make a big difference, really.

This is your night, your moment to shine. Whether you go for a bold, dramatic look or something more subtle and natural, the most important thing is that you feel confident and beautiful.
