Don't forget natural light—open those curtains and let the sunshine stream in!

Or is everything a bit...hard? Incorporating different textures adds depth and richness to your space. Think soft, plush fabrics alongside the cool smoothness of marble or the warmth of wood. The contrast is key! Experiment with materials—velvet, linen, silk, faux fur—to create a sensory experience that's both sophisticated and comfortable. My personal favorite? A chunky knit throw draped over an armchair—pure bliss!

One of my friends swears by lavender, and you should see how calm her house feels!
