My First Electric Skateboard Experience

Let me tell you a story. A few years back, I was feeling totally burnt out. My commute was a soul-crushing experience – traffic, delays, you name it. I felt like a sardine in a can, crammed onto a bus everyday. One day, I saw this guy effortlessly gliding down the street on an electric skateboard. It looked like so much fun, so freeing! I was immediately hooked. That day, I decided I needed one of those things in my life. And let me tell you, it completely changed my perspective on commuting. I’m not saying it was all sunshine and roses (there were a few, shall we say, interesting moments learning to balance), but the overall experience was amazing. Plus you can take super cool videos and pics, I am constantly taking videos for TikTok and Instagram. You know, for the 'gram.

If your car expenses are high, an electric skateboard might be a good choice for short-distance trips. I am not saying it can replace your car, but it can be a great alternative for daily commute in a city, it's a good investment in the long run. Also, remember all that time you save? That’s worth something too! Especially if you are living in big cities, this is very convenient.

5. It's Awesome Exercise (And It Doesn't Feel Like It!)

Okay, I wasn’t initially thrilled about the exercise aspect. But honestly, gliding around on an electric skateboard is surprisingly fun. You get a little bit of a workout without feeling like you’re at the gym. It's a sneaky way to stay active, which is always a plus. And it's definitely better than sitting in a car seat all day! Besides, you can add some hills into the mix to improve your physical fitness.
